If you’re looking for a secluded mountain top cabin with all the amenities, then “Song
Catcher” is your best choice.
This
3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin
is built with stacked stone on the outside and old world open timber
frame beams on the inside. The result is a European Style retreat
with views of the Smoky Mountains. Song Catcher is located
just a few miles from the world famous Nantahala Rafting
area and is just minutes from
the Appalachian Trail, Fontana Lake and Tsali Recreation area
with it’s world class mountain biking trails. The quaint
mountain town of Bryson City is less than 10 minutes away and Harrah's
Cherokee Casino is just a little further.
At Song Catcher you can enjoy
the picturesque North Carolina mountain views and absolute
peaceful seclusion. With a pool table and hot tub, the whole
family can escape to the mountains and forget your daily
stresses. And if you are bringing a furry four legged member
of your family, the fenced side yard and patio will be a plus
for them.
After a long day
hiking, fishing, or running the Nantahala River on a raft
with a bunch of your friends and family, you can return to
this cozy cabin as you stretch out on the comfy leather
couch under the 2 story timbered ceiling. For dinner, you can make your own in
the well appointed kitchen, BBQ on the grill just outside on
the covered patio or head to one of the variety of
restaurants in downtown Bryson City. Finish your evening
with a game of pool or sit around the fire pit in the back
yard under the starry mountain sky.
Up to the Top! Like all great secluded
mountain cabins, you have to drive uphill to get to the
view. If you are from the "flatlands", the drive up might be
a new experience, but most any car if driven properly will
earn it's right to park at the cabin.
