The Deep Creek Recreation Area in the park has hiking to 3 waterfalls and in the summer you can rent a tube and float down crystal clear water of the creek. You can take a short hike or drive to the park for a picnic or just to enjoy nature. The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is less than 2 miles away in downtown Bryson City. The park's mysterious Road to Nowhere is 4 miles away and you'll only be 7 miles from the Indian town of Cherokee, NC.

Valley View Cottage has everything you need for a relaxing getaway, but is convenient to favorite things to do in the Smokys and Cherokee The new Hot Tub on the side deck will be your relaxation oasis after a day out in the mountains. The screened porch is a great gathering place and you can enjoy your meals there or at the large outside picnic table. You'll be sharing the landscaped yard with numerous flowers and birds and at night you can enjoy a marshmallow roast at the fire pit.

Both bedrooms at Valley View Cottage have a queen-size bed and one has a set of bunk beds for the kids and a small TV. The other has a private entrance and patio overlooking the side yard.
